Tips for New Users

  • Ensure your workspace has completed loading before interacting with a chart that has 1ClickChartDOM on it to avoid accidentally executing an order.

  • Ensure your workspace has completed updating all charts after connecting to a data provider before interacting with a chart that has 1ClickChartDOM on it to ensure proper loading.

  • You don’t have to hold the Shift Key down to place orders, but by default this feature is checked ON in the Panel. “Shift Required” is for your safety getting started. Some prefer it ON all the time.

  • Practice moving a chart up and down within its window with the DOM attached by holding down the Ctrl key and dragging your left button mouse down, while in the vertical price margin.

  • Practice zooming into the Last Trade of the DOM by swiping the vertical price margin with your mouse button down.

  • Practice using a simulated account until you feel comfortable with executing orders and managing positions using 1ClickChartDOM.

ATM Strategy Order Modifications

ATM Strategy Multiple Targets Order Modification

If you manage more than one target or stop order on a single order management lane you can move up to three targets or stop orders using your mouse.

Left Mouse Click

Modifies the lowest numbered Stop Loss or Profit Target order.

Right Mouse Click

Modifies the second lowest numbered Stop Loss or Profit Target order.

Right Mouse Click + CTRL Key

Modifies the third lowest numbered Stop Loss or Profit Target order.

For example: if you attempt to modify the target or stop orders of a 3 target/stop ATM Strategy then:

  • “Target1” or “Stop1” would be moved using the left mouse button.

  • “Target2” or “Stop2” would be moved using the right mouse button.

  • “Target3” or “Stop3”  would be moved using the right mouse button + the CTRL key.

Note. Stacked orders are moved together when the “Stacked orders adjust together” indicator property is turned on.

Move All ATM Strategy Stop or Target Orders

You can move all ATM Strategy stop or target orders managed on different order management lanes with a single middle mouse button click.

If you wish all your target orders to go to market you can hold the shift key, then click the middle mouse button below or above the current market depending on the direction of your trade. For example, if you have multiple long targets above the current market price you would hold the shift key over one of the order management lanes, while your cursor is above the market, then click the middle mouse button below the current bid. This will move all target orders to market.

Entry Order Modifications

Move All Entry Orders

You can move all entry orders managed on different order management lanes with a single middle mouse button click.

When clicking the middle mouse button on an entry order lane that rests below the last trade price, all below market entry orders move to the price that was clicked on. Doing the same using an entry order that rests above the market, results in all above market entry orders moving.
